Contestants aged 4 to 20 years, from eight clubs across the country, took part in the third edition of the Kenya Kung Fu Championship. The tournament was sponsored by the Chinese embassy in Kenya. More than 50 contestants were awarded medals during the tournament. Kevin Simiyu, a 19-year-old high school graduate, won a gold medal.
