Heavy rains and flooding threatened Tioga and Broome counties in New York, with warnings issued for Sunday evening, July 13. This heavy rain caused significant damage and temporarily shut down Route 38 in Newark Valley for several hours. A state of emergency has been declared in Newark Valley.

WEMO, a wearable memo in the shape of a smartphone case

Cosmotec (Tachikawa City, Tokyo) has started test sales of "WEMO," a wearable memo in the shape of a smartphone case. This is the third in a series of products that won the "Tokyo Business Design Award for Excellence".
