Baradar also noted that the administration would continue to support the investment in Afghanistan as part of efforts to stand on its feet. Earlier, Nooruddin Azizi, acting minister of industry and commerce, stated that the country had achieved self-sufficiency in 134 domestic products and semi-self-sufficiency in another 100 items.
