China: Playful Dog Chases Soccer Ball in Snowy College Campus

On December 12, 2025, in Zhengzhou, in central China’s Henan province, a video showed students playing in the snow at Zhengzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College. Several snowmen stood nearby. A small white dog ran excitedly across the snowy field, chasing a rolling soccer ball and weaving between footprints and piles of snow. When the ball rolled too far away, the dog stopped and stood still for a moment, watching it, as if reluctant to let the game end.

China: Giant Panda Turns Into “White Bear” After Rolling in Snow

On January 21, 2024, in Xi’an, located in northwestern China’s Shaanxi province, a video captured the first snowfall of winter at the Qinling Four Treasures Science Park. Giant panda Qizai played on a slope near a tree. In the footage, Qizai rolled from the higher ground down toward the lower panda house area, turning over several times. Snowflakes stuck to its fur, gradually covering much of its body. By the time it reached the bottom, the panda looked like a round “white bear” with dark patches. The clip highlights the contrast between the thick snow, the enclosure, and the panda’s lively sliding movements.
