STORY: Int'l feline salon resumes in Bucharest after two-year suspension due to pandemic DATELINE: May 8, 2022 LENGTH: 00:00:47 LOCATION: Bucharest CATEGORY: SOCIETY SHOTLIST: 1. various of the cats at the feline salon STORYLINE: Over 150 cats are competing in the two-day SofistiCat-Bucharest International Feline Salon held in Bucharest, capital of Romania, this weekend, after two years of suspension due to the pandemic. Four international judges from International Feline Federations evaluate the cats which compete for a place on the podium in the "Best in show" competition. The referees are evaluating the physical characteristics of the cats, with more prizes making the baby cats more valuable. Among the cat breeds present are Abyssinian, Russian Blue, Bengal, British Shorthair, British Longhair, Devon Rex, Exotic, Maine Coon, Neva Masquerade, Norwegian Forest, Persian, Ragdoll, Singapura.
