World's largest 'Aurora Vision' screen in Dubai

TOKYO, Japan - Photo provided by Mitsubishi Electric Corp. shows the world's largest screen called ''Aurora (Diamond) Vision'' installed at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. Mitsubishi and Sojitz Corp. announced on Jan. 28, 2010, the installation of the screen measuring 107.52 meters by 10.88 meters for a total area of 1,169.8 square meters. The screen contains some 12 million light-emitting diodes or LEDs.

Sojitz arm to sell bargain-priced, 1-week-only DVD software

The company said on July 27 that its DVD movies and other software that can be played only for a week cost only 525 yen, compared with 2,000 yen-3,000 yen for conventional DVD products.
