Funeral of Petr Sorm, one of seven victims of shooting in the Ostrava Teaching Hospital, was held on December 19, 2019, in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Sorm was a member of Czech Prison Service. On December 10, 2019, after 07:00, shooter opened fire without any warning in the waiting room of the hospital's outpatient traumatology ward, shooting patients in the head and chest at close range. After killing six people and wounding three, he left the hospital, and committed suicide in a nearby village some three hours later.
