Spain: Forest Fire Breaks Out Near Granada City, Forcing Highway Closure

A forest fire broke out late Saturday, August 23, near the Fuente de la Bicha area between Granada city and Cenes de la Vega. The blaze produced a large smoke column visible across the city and forced the temporary closure of the A-395 highway. According to officials, firefighters have stabilized the fire, which is no longer spreading with active fronts.
