STORY: 15th "Spasskaya Tower" Int'l Military Music Festival kicks off in Moscow DATELINE: Aug. 28, 2022 LENGTH: 0:02:53 LOCATION: Moscow CATEGORY: CULTURE/MILITARY SHOTLIST: 1. various of the festival STORYLINE: The 15th "Spasskaya Tower" International Military Music Festival kicked off Friday night in Moscow. With more than 1,500 participants this year, orchestras performed at the Red Square in different genres - from military marches to classics and pop. The Russian Federation is represented by orchestras of law enforcement agencies of the country: the Ministry of Defense, the FSO, the Russian Guard, the FSB and the Russian Emergencies Ministry. Bands from Armenia, Belarus, Venezuela, Egypt, India and Thailand are also taking part. For 15 years, the festival has hosted more than 160 teams from 56 countries and regions, becoming one of the largest international cultural projects in Russia.
