OSAKA, Japan - Yoshinori Minamino (L), eldest son of Hajimu Minamino who sued the state for compensation in connection with a 1996 outbreak of food poisoning, speaks to reporters in Osaka's Kita Ward on Feb. 19. The Osaka High Court upheld a ruling ordering the state to pay Minamino 6 million yen for erroneously saying his white radish sprouts were the probable cause of the food poisoning caused by E. coli bacteria.
