China: Cat Catches Pigeon on University Sports Field in Shandong

On November 22, 2025, a video from the west campus of Dezhou University in Dezhou, Shandong province, shows a pigeon resting on a sports field while a cat slowly stalks it from a nearby running track. As students walked past without noticing, the cat crept closer before suddenly pouncing. The pigeon attempted to fly away but was caught almost immediately, with the cat carrying the bird in its mouth along the track.
