Typhoon Bualoi, locally named Opong, battered Luzon and the Visayas with heavy rain and strong winds. Thousands of residents were evacuated as a precaution, while authorities warned of possible flooding, landslides, and storm surges.

Canada: Large Fire Breaks Out On Old Rail Bridge In Metro Vancouver 2

An old unused rail bridge caught fire in Richmond, British Columbia on Thursday evening, June 20 sending a huge plume of smoke into the sky over Metro Vancouver. The nearby Oak Street bridge was closed in both directions while firefighters fought the fire.
