The incident happened in Sukkur district where a bus heading towards east Punjab province had a head-on collision with the other one coming from Punjab at the national highway in the district, the police told media. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital, and several of them are in critical condition. The cause of the accident is being determined, but according to the initial investigation by the police, the bus driver heading towards Punjab lost control of the vehicle due to overspeeding.
