China: Road Blanketed With Thick White Foam After Heavy Rain

A road in Shantou, Guangdong, was blanketed in thick foam after heavy rain on September 7, 2025, making the street look snow-covered. The foam stretched along Taishan South Road, stirred by cars and watched by pedestrians in a surreal scene. Authorities confirmed the street was cleaned but said the foam’s origin remains under investigation.

China: Typhoon Tapah Slams Into Guangdong With Fierce Winds and Torrential Rain

A powerful Typhoon Tapah battered Guangdong, China, on September 7–8, 2025, bringing fierce winds and torrential rain. The footage show trees whipping and visibility near zero as the storm made landfall in Haiyan Town, Taishan, on September 8. According to the China Meteorological Administration, Tapah packed sustained winds of 30 m/s (force 11) with a central pressure of 978 hPa, moving northwest at 20–25 km/h.
