China: Tourists Rescue Elderly Couple From Overturned Car in Tibet

On May 31, 2026, at a viewing platform along the Nujiang Grand Canyon in Baxu County, Chamdo, Tibet, passing tourists stopped to rescue a 70-year-old couple whose car had overturned during a self-driving trip. It took about 20 minutes to free the couple from the vehicle, who were then taken to hospital for treatment.
