This visit came amidst enhanced cooperation between Egypt and the United States in the field of aviation security. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed all of the security measures in place at Egyptian airports. Egypt has recently made efforts to improve the efficiency of security systems at its airports. The American delegation welcomed the cooperation with the Egyptian side and the provision of all means of support and expertise necessary to redesign Terminal 3 at Cairo International Airport, which will offer reduced waiting times and fewer stopping points for passengers.
