TOKYO, Japan - Japan Racing Association (JRA) veteran jockey Yukio Okabe, who has won a record 2,943 races, poses with Taiki Shuttle after winning the Prix Jacques le Marois Grade-One race in France in August 1998. The 56-year-old Okabe said March 10 he will retire from horse racing after 38 years.
