A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck Taitung County in southeastern Taiwan at around 5:47 p.m. Wednesday, according to Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration. The quake had a depth of about 11.9 km and shook buildings as far away as Taipei, but there were no immediate reports of damage. The video shows a store shelf shaking in Chiayi City, about 130 kilometers northwest of Taitung County.
