Heavy snowfall has been battering Hokkaido. In Iwamizawa City, snow that began falling on December 11 had reached a record high of 176 centimeters as of December 18. This video shows a blizzard hitting Kamikawa, the middle of the island of Hokkaido, on Friday, December 20.
