Japan's UNICEF staffer laments S. Sudan's bad security

TOKYO, Japan - Yuji Taketomo, engaged in humanitarian support in war-torn South Sudan as a UNICEF international staff member, said in Japan in September 2014 that the establishment of a route to deliver relief aid and food to some 1.4 million internally-displaced people, particularly malnourished children, is essential but deteriorating security is an obstacle.

The suspect, Zheng Yongshan, was arrested on suspicion of fatally stabbing the two as she was driving them to a kindergarten in the city together with her daughter, who attends the same kindergarten.
