The bus is from the Castanuelas Tours company and was traveling from the municipality of Huejutla when the accident occurred at km 67 on the Victoria-Monterrey Highway near the municipality of Hidalgo. The driver of the truck fled after the crash, according to witnesses. The highway was closed to conduct an investigation into the accident.
