2 Univ. of Tokyo researchers implicated in fabrication in 5 papers

TOKYO, Japan, Aug. 1 Kyodo - File photo taken in February 2016 shows Yoshinori Watanabe, professor in the University of Tokyo's Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biosciences. The university said on Aug. 1, 2017, that Watanabe and Yuji Tanno, who was a research associate in Watanabe's laboratory, were involved in six fabrications and 10 alterations in five papers on cell division.
