A powerful Typhoon Tapah battered Guangdong, China, on September 7–8, 2025, bringing fierce winds and torrential rain. The footage show trees whipping and visibility near zero as the storm made landfall in Haiyan Town, Taishan, on September 8. According to the China Meteorological Administration, Tapah packed sustained winds of 30 m/s (force 11) with a central pressure of 978 hPa, moving northwest at 20–25 km/h.
