"Jellyfish aquarium" in Yamagata

YAMAGATA, Japan - Tatsuo Murakami, director of Kamo Aquarium, observes jellyfish Chrysaora helvola at the aquarium in Tsuruoka, Yamagata Prefecture, on April 15, 2012. The aquarium was designated the same year by the Guinness World Records as having the largest number of different jellyfish species in captivity.

Ex-director of Kamo aquarium cultivates students at high school

Photo taken on April 8, 2015, shows Tatsuo Murakami, former director of Kamo Aquarium in the northeastern Japan city of Tsuruoka, standing in front of a jellyfish aquarium. He transformed the once foundering aquarium into a popular tourist site by displaying the widest variety of jellyfish species in the world.
