Takano wins HBC Cup, Okabe in 2nd

SAPPORO, Japan - Teppei Takano soars through the air on the K-120 Okurayama hill at the HBC Cup ski jumping competition in Sapporo on Jan. 14. Takano won the event with a jump of 126 meters in the final, collecting 125.8 points.

NISHINOMIYA, Japan - Yuto Okita (R) of Okayama Ridai Fuzoku, Okayama Prefecture, gets a two-run hit in the second inning against Takigawa Daini of Hyogo Prefecture on the 12th day of the 81st National High School Baseball Tournament at Koshien Stadium on Aug. 19.
