UK: Flooding Closes Roads, Disrupts Travel In Wales

Natural Resources Wales issued 17 flood warnings and 30 alerts across the country for Wednesday, October 16. Heavy rain caused travel disruptions, with flash floods closing roads and, according to SWP, a car trapped in floodwaters. Three schools in Powys were closed Wednesday afternoon.
