LISNE, UKRAINE - SEPTEMBER 6, 2023 - A destroyed olive tree that was planted in Italy in 1654, brought to Kharkiv in 2021 and blessed by Patriarch Theophilos III is pictured at Feldman Ecopark where works to recover from Russian shelling have begun, Lisne village, Kharkiv Region, northeastern Ukraine. The regional landscape park, which offered both animal care and therapy for children with special needs, was largely destroyed during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Six people - both workers and a volunteer - and several animals were killed in the shelling. Moreover, Russians stole vegetables intended for animals. Approximately, 6,000 animals were evacuated from the park.
