Khmer Rouge figure Ieng Thirith freed

TOKYO, Japan - File photo shows former Khmer Rouge minister Ieng Thirith. Cambodia's U.N.-backed genocide and war crimes tribunal on Sept. 16, 2012, released her from detention after finding her unfit to stand trial due to dementia.
