Japan confirms China pumps gas or oil in E. China Sea

TOKYO, Japan - Photo taken by the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force on Sept. 19 shows a drilling platform in the Tianwaitian field developed by a Chinese consortium in the East China Sea. Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Shoichi Nakagawa told a press conference on Sept. 20 that Japan has confirmed China has been pumping either oil or natural gas near disputed waters in the sea. Japan confirms China pumps gas or oil in E. China Sea
