Former prisoners of Shkval Special Battalion defend Ukraine

UKRAINE - JULY 26, 2024 - A serviceman who goes by call sign Tkach is a Shkval (Squall) Battalion member. Former prisoners who volunteered to defend Ukraine and were released on parole make up most of the Shkval Special Assault Battalion of the 57th Otaman Kost Hordiienko Motorized Brigade. Currently, military personnel are undergoing training and acquiring the necessary skills. Many of them already have combat experience.
