Kyushu Electric Power signs LNG bunkering contracts for coal with two shipping companies

The cost of the project and the share of the cost with Kyushu Electric Power Co. will not be disclosed. The two shipping companies mentioned the spread of LNG-fueled vessels. Tobata Ironworks (Kokura Minami-ku, Kitakyushu City) has introduced a large computer numerical control (CNC) turning center with a table diameter of 4,000 mm. The company had been using separate machines for turning and drilling, but as the workpieces have become larger and the time required for moving and processing them has increased, the company has decided to use a single machine to improve efficiency.
