Fujitsu's supercomputer "Fugaku" shipping ceremony

On April 2, Fujitsu held a ceremony at its subsidiary Fujitsu IT Products (FJIT) in Kahoku City, Ishikawa Prefecture, where the supercomputer is being jointly developed with RIKEN. FJIT started production of the central processing unit (CPU) in March. FJIT started production of the central processing units (CPUs) in March and plans to manufacture more than 60 racks every month, completing the shipment of more than 400 units in total by June 2008. Fujitsu chief apologizes for Tokyo bourse glitch, vows probe
