Shigenobu pictured in Beirut

Shigenobu pictured in Beirut

TOKYO, Japan - Photo taken in Beirut in 1981 shows Fusako Shigenobu, founder of the Japanese Red Army, who was arrested in Takatsuki, Osaka Prefecture, on Nov. 8. One of a handful of high-profile Japanese leftists who had been at large for decades, Shigenobu, 55, is suspected of seizing the French Embassy in The Hague on Sept. 13, 1974, with two other members of the Lebanon-based guerrilla group she formed in early 1970s. The photo was provided by ''Hanashi-no-Tokushu'' publishing company.
