Russia firm produces car developed with Renault, Nissan

TOLYATTI, Russia - Toshiyuki Shiga (front), chief operating officer of Nissan Motor Co., signs the first new passenger vehicle produced at a factory of Russia's largest automaker AvtoVAZ, in a production launch ceremony at the factory in Tolyatti, central Russia on April 4, 2012, observed by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin (R). AvtoVAZ began producing the vehicles jointly developed with its partners, Renault SA and Nissan.
