PHNOM PENH, Cambodia - Officials remove skulls from the wall of Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Phnom Penh on March 10 due to preservation concerns and the fact that some visitors found the display disturbing. Some 100 skulls were arranged in the shape of a map of the country.

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia - Photo shows an exhibit made from the skulls of victims who died at the Tuol Sleng prison during the 1975-1979 Khmer Rouge regime, on display at a Phnom Penh museum. Slow preparations have forced a delay in the opening of trials for ex-Khmer Rouge leaders until next year, including the trial of the prison's former warden, Kaing Khek Ieu. At least 16,000 people were executed at the prison during his tenure.
