TOKYO, Japan - Two clerks show off electrical appliances with built-in technical specifications to allow users to control them via the Internet using cell phones at a press conference in Tokyo on Dec. 17. Toshiba Corp., Sharp Corp., Mitsubishi Electric Corp. and Sanyo Electric Co. said they have drawn up the iReady specifications for compatibility among their products when they are connected via the Net.
