(220803) -- SUVA, Aug. 3, 2022 (Xinhua) -- Fiji's acting minister for defense and minister for infrastructure Jone Usamate speaks while attending the Chinese Embassy's reception to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, in Suva, Fiji, Aug. 1, 2022. Jone Usamate reiterated on Monday Fijian government's firm adherence to the one-China principle. He highly praised the achievements of practical cooperation between the two countries in the fields of defense and security, agriculture, health and trade, saying that the longtime mutual respect for each other's sovereignty is a reflection of the Fiji-China friendly relations.
