US: All-Clear Given After Reports of Active Shooter at University of South Carolina

The University of South Carolina issued an alert of a possible active shooter near the Thomas Cooper Library on the main Columbia campus, on Sunday, August 24, ordering students to evacuate and seek shelter. Officials later gave the all-clear after finding no evidence of the shooter, though two minor injuries were reported during the evacuation.

US: Dozens Injured After Los Angeles Metro Train Collides With USC Transportation Bus

Dozens of people were injured after a collision involving a Metro E Line train and a University of Southern California shuttle bus in the Exposition Park area, Los Angeles, on Tuesday, April 30. According to the LAFD, two people were taken to the hospital with critical conditions, 16 with minor injuries, and 37 others were treated and released at the scene.
