The strikes, organized by the Spanish unions USO and Sitcpla, will take place 24 hours a day from Monday to Thursday every week till Jan. 7 next year. They demand improved working conditions for 1,600 workers. The strike led to six cancellations and 191 delays on the first day of the strike. The latest strike follows two previous waves of limited stoppages by Ryanair cabin crew in June and July that caused over 300 cancellations and more than 3,000 delays. SOU

A wisteria trellis at Kameido Shrine

Many festivals are celebrated throughout the year at Kameido Tenjin Shrine. While the Wisteria Festival is well-known, Usokae Shinji is also popular. This event is based on the belief that the mythical uso bird returns from the previous year and brings good luck with it. The conversation staged between the shrine priest and an oni (devil) at the Setsubun Tsuinasai Festival in February is also interesting.
