Arches of light lit up Tokyo

TOKYO, Japan - Giant arches of light light up the Marunouchi business district in Tokyo on Christmas Eve in the ''Tokyo Milenario'' millennium festival. Twenty 12-meter-high arches, decorated with a total of 180,000 light bulbs, stretch over a 350-meter span of the Uchinaka Dori street. The arches will be lit up every night from dusk to 10:30 p.m. through Dec. 31. On Jan. 1, the lights will be on until 4 a.m.
