Drying rice

View from a riverbank or sand bar. The riverbank, rich with greenery, has been reinforced with rocks. The rice has been hung out to dry on the riverbank. A farmer is standing in the centre of the picture. The wooden poles in the river may mark a fishing area. The height of the riverbank reinforcements indicates that this is a scene on the Ujigawa River, between the Kangetsu Bridge and Yodo.
