Volcano evacuees briefly return home

Residents of the southwestern Japan island of Kuchinoerabu and firefighters form a line prior to a brief homecoming on June 1, 2015. The islanders have stayed on nearby Yakushima Island since a volcano on their home island erupted on May 29.
