Zhu says he was unaware of naval operations near Japan

URUMCHI, China - Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji tells a group of Japanese business officials that he was unaware of increasing Chinese research activities and naval operations in what Japan considers its exclusive economic waters. Zhu made the comments in Urumchi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, on Sept. 9 in his meeting with members of the Japan-China Economic Association mission.
