Japanese chef wins E. Asian gelato competition

Japan's Akira Hattori (C), chef at the patisserie La Verdure in Yokohama, holds a trophy in Tokyo on Sept. 6, 2015, after winning a competition held to select gelato artisans to represent East Asia in the Grand Finale of the Gelato World Tour to be held in Rimini, Italy, in September 2017.
