Japan: Winter Storm Brings Blizzard Conditions And Heavy Snow To Hokkaido

A winter storm moved through Hokkaido, the northernmost region of Japan, on Wednesday, December 11, causing blizzard conditions and bringing several inches of snow. The Japan Meteorological Agency issued a Gale and Snow Advisory for a widespread area.
