The fire broke out in a three-story building containing warehouses storing flammable perfumes in the al-Waziriyah industrial area, said Mohsen Kadhim, assistant director general of the Iraqi Civil Defense. Two of the three stories collapsed due to the fire, which was extinguished late Sunday evening, said Kadhim. Rescue teams are removing the rubbles to search for the missing people at the scene, Kadhim said, adding that the collapse of the two upper floors injured 10 members of the Civil Defense, including its Director General Kadhim Bohan.
