Chinese-American physicist Tsung-Dao Lee died Sunday in San Francisco, California, confirmed by the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and China Center for Advanced Science and Technology. The 97-year-old Nobel laureate died at his home in San Francisco at 2:33 a.m. local time (0933 GMT) Sunday morning, according to a joint obituary released on Monday by the two organizations.
