The photo shows a high-powered copying machine unveiled by by Canon U.S.A. Inc. in New York on Tuesday Aug. 18. The U.S. subsidiary of Japan's Canon Inc. said it will start selling the $115,000 machine in mid-September in the markets long dominated by Xerox Corp. ''We're taking on Xerox in markets where they traditionally haven't had much competition,'' said Canon U.S.A. President Haruo Murase.
