Taiwan: Typhoon Kong-Rey Makes Landfall, Bringing Strong Winds, Heavy Rain 3

Typhoon Kong-rey made landfall in Taitung, southeast Taiwan, on Halloween afternoon, October 31. It brought gusty winds and heavy rainfall to eastern Taiwan and was expected to affect other regions as well. This video shows heavy rain and strong winds in Hualien County.

Tropical Storm Trami, locally known as Kristine, brought heavy rainfall and caused flooding as it approached the Philippines. In the past two days, torrential rains from Kristine have triggered flash floods in several areas of the provinces of Maguindanao del Sur, Maguindanao del Norte, and Sultan Kudarat.
