Yamaha raises yearly sales target of 3-wheel bike

NAGOYA, Japan - Yamaha motor Co. President Hiroyuki Yanagi says in a media interview in Iwata, Shizuoka Prefecture, central Japan, on Aug. 21, 2014, the company will revise upward its annual sales target of Tricity MW125, a three-wheel motorcycle to be launched in Japan on Sept. 10, from the initial plan of 7,000 units. Total orders received for the new model have already reached 5,000 units since the announcement of the release in July, according to Yanagi.
